Amendment Thirteen: abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime.

Summary: Two sections - no amendments applicable. There shall be no slavery or involuntary servitude (except imprisonment for criminal conviction) in the United States or anyplace subject to U.S. jurisdiction. Congress has the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
